Today I received a call on my cell from Albany, NY. Actually, Glen Falls to be exact. I recognized the upstate NY 518 area code. It was strange because I no longer talk to anyone I knew there. Except Jewyls - was it you?! Was it any of my lj friends? I hope it was a wrong number. Or maybe someone wishing me Happy 4/20! I called it back so if they really wanted to talk to me they could've picked up. It just totally creeped me out. On another note, this guy is one of the most amazing artists I have ever seen. Seriously, go look. You'll shit, it's insane.

Now this is an interesting bill on weather modification: S 517 IS. Effective date: October 1, 2005. I like the 'and for other purposes'. I heard Richard C. talk about this on Coast to Coast AM one night and I had to look it up just to verify. He gave the number but to find it, I had to search for "weather modification". I couldn't find it as #517 at all. HR 2863 RFS - The DOD appropriations [which also came up on that search] is really pretty good, too. Current Mood: creeped

I hear Demi is pregnant with Ashton's love child.
And speaking of Demi, [sort of] I also heard Bruce Willis is dating Lindsay Lohan. Any truth in that shit? Current Mood: disgusted Current Music: carole king - tapestry

I am so into Erykah Badu. Can I mention again how amazing that show was? Go vote for Kat and her 90210 hoodie! One thing I hate about work email is when one asshole uses the "Reply All" function to chastise another person for accidentally using "Reply All". Like...? Are you seriously that reactionary that you cannot stop for one moment to ascertain whether or not your snarky response is directed to those who, I don't know, actually fucking did it? Instead of everyone? Hi? I was just annoyed because, damnit, I had work to do! I didn't need the lowdown on their "Reply All" drama boinging my "New Mail Has Arrived" button all damn day. I don't care. This week has been completely intense. Yesterday I watched the Diary of Julia Stiles on MTV. I was horrified to see that Ms. Native NYC could hardly operate her seatbelt, having waited until age 21 to garner a driver's license. Ok, see, I would love to live in NYC, but I am also glad I can get in the Jetta, hit an open road, and just fucking go. And go really fast, too. I really do love that about NM. Isaac and I re-applied for our FAFSA aid last week. I find it absolutely priceless that you cannot get federal aid to go to school if you have a drug related charge. But one bright soul realized that you can apply, take your federal aid money, spend it on an ounce of high grade, and then ride around, smoking it up and ditching classes the gov has paid for! That's bettering yourself, right? That's why I pay taxes. Truly...that, kids, is class. /sarcasm But seriously folks. Rampant hypocrisy [n., pl. - a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not] is why I love this place so. It's been awhile, did you miss me? We've been offline due to a drunk backing over the cable box. Rock on, ghetto burque folks!
My first lifelong friend got married this weekend. I cried. It was beautiful.
I am still catching up...and tying up loose ends. There's a lot.
And isn't it funny that someone who "originally contacted you about the return of your stuff and paying off my debt"...hasn't? I've asked three times, and we all know that money's been tight for my little family.
Well, I'm not surprised at all. Users use, right? I mean, god forbid I get the $60 back I lent for covering bounced checks to fucking Target, right? I must be a terrible person, to, you know, lend someone money and expect it to be repaid...what a total bitch!
Whatever. Albuquerque sucks. I'll go catch up and regale you with my adventures around NM the past two weeks. We've been to Taos, Cruces and El Paso, lovely spots, I'm sure.
Colin is taking us to see Erykah Badu tonight.
I really missed everyone. Current Mood: pissed off Current Music: pearl jam - live on two legs

Happy 2nd Anniversary, Isaac! Love you, baby.
And: Happy Birthday, Jason and Dad!
It's a big day. We're going to dinner at the Outback with dad tonight to celebrate late Christmas/birthday/anniversary.
I planned to wear a skirt today and it's only 25 out. Granted, it's a full-length one. Should I rock it all Flashdance style today with my pink and grey striped leg warmers? Well, I am going to...at least in the car.
I went online at Gap.com and was disappointed that the sweater I wanted wasn't listed yet...I guess I have to stop at the mall.
So, New Year's Eve...I have no idea what I am doing. Maybe I'll thorw a party.
Off to work. Everyone besides Marketing is still on vacation. Current Mood: awake Current Music: today on nbc

"'Business!' cried the Ghost, wringing its hands again. 'Mankind was my business. The common welfare was my business; charity, mercy, forbearance, and benevolence, were, all, my business. The dealings of my trade were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business!'"
